We believe that all animals deserve the chance to live, thrive and be loved in "forever homes!" It is our sincere desire to provide aid when needed and to create opportunities for these needy animals to have a second chance at life.

Skitter needs a permanent home. Can you help?.Meet Skitter. She is a 4 or 5 year old spayed lady in need of a permanent home. Skitter needs a special human who can be patient with her as she is very skittish with "strangers," hence the name.
Skitter lived on her own for the first few years of her life but was taken in by a family friend who has cared for her the past 2 years. He unfortunately cannot afford to have 2 dogs and since Skitter came after his other dog he has to let her go.
Skitter is an outside dog who needs a fenced yard or secluded acreage and a home with no children or cats. She will come in the house during very cold weather and does well inside. She is very sweet and not aggressive at all, just wary of anyone she doesn't know. She has a dog brother right now and would do great with a companion. Whoever adopts Skitter will need to have a lot of patience as it will probably be a few weeks until she becomes comfortable enough with her new human to let them pet her. Skitter does very well in the car and likes to go for rides.
Talk to your friends. If you know someone who could give Skitter a home, please contact me at 360-462-2808.
